 Prior to my career in real estate I spent 32 years educating young adults in High school and university.  31 of those years I was a teacher with the North York School Board (later Toronto District School Board)  teaching  Physical Education , Geography and History.  For a year I taught at Loma LInda University while I studied for my Master's Degree at the University of Southern California (USC). While in Southern California I coached the Corona Swim Club an AAU affiliated  age group swim club and continued to coach swimming in Toronto High Schools and also with the North York Aquatic Club.  While coaching with the North York Aquatic Club we had the pleasure of sending several of our swimmers to the Olympics. Teaching in  Toronto  also provided me with  the opportunity to coach high school and club volleyball, track and field, water  polo and basket ball.  All of these activities were most gratifying since I was able to observe the development of skills and strategies so evident as teenagers progress.     Real estate was a natural transition for me since I had bought property and constructed various homes in which we lived during my educational career.  It was a profession which had looked  attractive to  me for many years.  Here was also a profession for which your compensation was dependent upon  how hard you worked and how well you served your clients.
